Reasons for Choosing Laurier
I chose the PhD program at Wilfrid Laurier University because of the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics’ strong research environment in finance and its supportive, apprenticeship-style doctoral training. The program’s close faculty mentorship and collaborative culture align with my goal of developing rigorous empirical research skills and applying them to real-world financial questions.
