Nicole Brown, fourth-year student and Laurier Ambassador
As your future Golden Hawk prepares to apply, we know you may have a lot of questions.
Laurier is here to ensure that you have access to the information you need as you learn about our university through information sessions, guided tours and more.
During Laurier’s winter break closure, you can use our handy conversation starters to continue the conversation during this time and virtually explore our campuses from the comfort (and warmth!) of home.
Students are also welcome to apply to Laurier during the winter break but any applications submitted between Dec. 24 and Jan. 2 will not be received and processed by our admissions team until early January. This delay will not have any impact on how we assess applications.
Visit our "Applying to Laurier" page to see how you can support your student through the admissions process, or learn more about:
Laurier is proud to offer services that help both domestic and international students thrive. We also recognize that working together with supporters, especially during challenging situations, can often yield positive outcomes for students.
We hope your students have a happy and restful break during our winter closure. Students who have official document and transcript requests should submit these requests no later than Dec. 14 to ensure completion before the holiday closure. Service Laurier will be open and providing services until Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 4:30 p.m.
Visit our "Supporting Your Student" page to explore information and resources that will help you support your student and stay involved throughout the academic year, or learn more about:
All your love and support will lead your student to the finish line: graduation! At university, students need to apply to graduate. Our convocation section has all the information you need about the ceremonies, photos, receptions and more.
Watch parents of graduating Laurier students describe why the university is a great place for their students to learn and to grow.
