Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.


Are you a community member, committee or organization looking to rent space on Laurier’s Brantford campus? We’re happy to assist you when booking a meeting or event in one of our downtown building locations.

Note: If you are a Laurier student looking to book space on campus, complete the appropriate campus-specific student room booking form.

Booking Process

Booking requests must be made at least 15 days prior to your event.

  1. Consider your space needs.
    • Most of our rooms are equipped to handle formal presentations. However, we cannot provide on-site technical support for weekend reservations.
    • If you plan to serve alcohol at your event, you are responsible for arranging a Special Occasion Permit and catering services.
  2. Submit our external bookings form.
    • We will review your request to find a space to suit your reservation.
  3. Prepare a certificate of insurance.
    • We require a copy of insurance and can assist you in this process should you require a temporary certificate.
  4. Review and sign Laurier’s Facility Use Agreement.
    • This will be emailed to you with all the reservation details. The agreement is required no matter the size or duration of your reservation.
  5. Review Laurier’s COVID-19 visitor policy.
    • Note that public health and government restrictions continue to change.
  6. Provide payment for your reservation.
    • You will receive an invoice once your booking is complete.

Note: Unfortunately, we cannot reserve parking for you. Visit our parking webpage for options near campus.
