Our Students and Alumni

Laurier students and graduates are exceptional and are prepared to make an impact in today's workforce. The Career Development Centre is proud to be a partner in making successful connections between employers and our students and alumni.

Laurier has been known for academic excellence for over a century – but in-class learning is only part of the equation. Putting knowledge to work in the real world through experiential learning is a hallmark of the Laurier experience, and it is something employers value in our graduates.

Through comprehensive programming starting in first year, our goal is to equip students and graduates with a combination of knowledge, skills and experience that will make an immediate and positive impact on your organization. In fact, Laurier has developed a competency framework to help students understand and articulate the knowledge, skills and attributes they have developed through their program and experiences.

  • Academic programs: Laurier offers majors, minors and options in more than 100 programs of study.
  • Engaged and well-rounded students: Laurier students are recognized for their extensive involvement in volunteer and leadership positions on campus and in the external community. The Laurier Experience Record is a comprehensive account of a student's engagement.
  • Student demographics: View our Registrar’s Report for detailed information on our 20,000+ students by program of study, geographic distribution and biographical parameters.
