The BA Multidisciplinary Studies is a flexible program with only one required course in your final year.
AF495 Multidisciplinary Capstone Experience is a variable-content seminar that provides students with an integrative learning experience where they will bring together what they have learned across disciplines into a meaningful research project.
In order to prepare for this capstone experience in their final year, students in the BA in Multidisciplinary Studies work with an advisor throughout their degree to create their own academic journey.

Management Option
The Management Option is for students interested in adding management-specific education to their degree. This is a direct-entry, 4.0-credit option that includes courses covering all the core pillars of business and economics. Apply directly to Multidisciplinary Studies with Management Option on the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) by choosing ‘Management Option’ as your program enhancement.

Interested in furthering your studies? The BA in Multidisciplinary Studies + MBA with co-op pathway may be just for you. In collaboration with the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, the Faculty of Arts is proud to offer this exciting pathway to our students.
Start your Multidisciplinary Studies BA with a conditional offer to join our full-time MBA program (with co-op) after graduation.
This program is six years: four years in the BA program plus two years in the MBA program. The MBA program consists of three academic terms plus one paid four-month or eight-month work term.
Students accepted into the BA + MBA program receive mentoring and skills development opportunities throughout their undergraduate degree that will help them achieve the admission requirements for the MBA and help turn the conditional offer into an acceptance.

Laurier's language of instruction is English, and so we may require you to provide evidence of your English proficiency to help make sure you are successful in your academic courses.
Your three most recent years of full-time education must be in English without taking any ESL (English as a Second Language) courses. If you do not meet this requirement, you must provide evidence of your English proficiency.
We reserve the right to request an English-language test from any applicant.
If you do not meet Laurier's English proficiency requirement but are academically qualified for your program, you may be eligible for a conditional offer of admission.
The Academic Transition Pathway (ATP) program is offered through our affiliated institution, Wilfrid Laurier International College, and provides an option for meeting our English-proficiency requirement. If you have received an offer to Laurier with a condition to meet our English-proficiency requirement, you can meet that condition by successfully completing the ATP program.

Get the best of both worlds. In this program, you attend some scheduled classes in a physical classroom and participate in online learning.
Some online components may be live at scheduled times (virtual synchronous), while others can be completed independently (virtual asynchronous). Your course syllabus will outline when you’re expected to be in class and when you’ll be learning online.
