Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Our full-time Master of Finance (MFin) program is offered in Waterloo, Ontario – Canada's best technology ecosystem and takes 12 months to complete.
You can choose to pursue our full-time degree while being part of Canada's largest co-op program. This option takes 20 months to complete, including two four-month co-op work terms. MFin students typically work in the financial sector, with 80% of our co-op work terms in companies within the Greater Toronto Area.
Note: The co-op option is available to applicants with less than three years of full-time work experience.
Note: Intake for this format is currently on hold.
Our part-time, alternative weekends MFin program is located in downtown Toronto to immerse you in Canada’s financial capital. We offer this degree every other weekend (with summers off) to fit within your schedule as a working professional.
International students typically don't apply to our Toronto part-time programs because they are not eligible for the PGWP after graduation.
The Master of Finance (MFin) and MSc in Management in Analytics (MMA) double degree is designed to train students to be interdisciplinary specialists in finance and data analytics.
The integrated interdisciplinary curriculum is combined with experiential learning for students to gain comprehensive knowledge both in finance and data analytics as well as hands-on experience for solving real world finance problems using sophisticated analytical tools and quantitative models.

“The world is fierce but a degree from the Master of Finance program at Laurier gives me the credibility to compete. The 20-month program format enabled me to apply what I learned in the classroom into two four-month internships and the continued working life. More importantly, people here are super nice and helpful!”
