Co-op for Double-Degree Students

students-studying-co-op-banner.jpg

The double-degree co-op program gives you the opportunity to develop skills and gain real-world experience while completing three or four paid work terms lasting up to four months each.

You will enrol in co-op in your second year. You will get assistance with career planning, job search and interview preparation through the Fundamentals of Co-operative Education course. You will then apply to job postings and attend interviews.

Business + Financial Mathematics (BA) or Computer Science (BSc) Double Degrees at Laurier

You will automatically enter into the co-op program as a BA or BSc double-degree student. This means that you do not have to apply or interview for an opportunity to participate in co-op. Instead, you are admitted into co-op upon admission to either of these double-degree programs and can choose whether or not you would like to participate in a co-op experience.

Business + Computer Science (BCS) and Math (BMath) Double Degrees with UW

You will be required to participate in the co-op program as a BCS or BMath double-degree student.

If you choose to apply to Laurier and accept Laurier's offer of admission, your main campus will be Laurier. You will automatically enter into Laurier's business degree co-op program, Canada's largest business co-op program.
