Minimum Requirements

  • The General Certificate of Education (GCE) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two A-level subjects.
    • Two AS-level courses may be submitted for one A-level course.
  • Three GCSE subjects, or two when three A-level subjects are presented.
  • Your AS- or A-level predicted grades or final grades are used for admission consideration along with your GCSE Certifying Statements.

Notes

  • You may receive transfer credits (up to the equivalent of six courses) once your final GCE certifying statements have been received and depending on your program.
    • To be eligible for transfer credits:
      • A-level courses must be at a minimum grade of B.
      • Transfer credits will be awarded once we have received either your final official certifying statements or final official provisional certifying statements. We will not award transfer credits based on predicted or unofficial grades.
  • BTEC National (Level 3) qualifications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for admission.
    • All prerequisite courses will still need to be met.
    • One BTEC Nationals level 3 (six credits course) with a minim grade of Merit (M) can be used to equate to one A-level. This would need to be used in conjunction with another senior-level course such as two AS-levels or one A-level.
    • An extended BTEC Level 3 diploma can be used with three GCSE to calculate an admission average.
  • To clear conditions, final official GCSE and A-Level certifying statements sent directly from your exam boards will be required. We will not accept copies sent by your school; they must come from the exam board.
