The Incremental Project Grant (IPG) is a stream of the Research Support Fund (RSF) that provides eligible institutions with further support for the indirect costs of research.
The IPG provides additional support for projects in priority areas that cut across the RSF’s five existing categories of eligible expenses.
Institutions have flexibility in deciding how to use their grant, provided that the funds are used for the payment of current expenditures of indirect costs attributed to federally sponsored research that falls within the following five categories:
