Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

I received my education at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Russia, and the Royal College of Music in London, UK.
I have performed internationally, playing numerous solo recitals, chamber music, and concertos with some of the world’s best-known orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic, BBC Philharmonic, Moscow State Symphony, Vienna Chamber, The Philharmonia, Deutschland Radio, City of Birmingham Symphony, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, English Chamber, and Belgian National Symphony.
In addition to maintaining an active performing and recording schedule, I am also a dedicated teacher. I find teaching to be a creative, inspiring, and reciprocal work, and it brings me immense joy. Drawing from my years of experience as an international performer, I have honed my own teaching method which I practice in my studio. My students have garnered top prizes in numerous competitions across Canada and earned acceptance into prestigious undergraduate and graduate programs, including those at Royal Academy of Music (U.K.), Indiana University ( U.S.A.), New England Conservatory (U.S.A.), Moscow Conservatory (Russia), and top music faculties across Canada.
Teaching at Laurier is a joy. Working with talented students and wonderful colleagues enriches my life and brings it inspiration and fulfillment. This school, which a student once called “best kept secret,” will always have a special place in my heart.
