Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

At the Faculty of Liberal Arts, our faculty members are actively engaged in research across all our departments with an emphasis on collaborative and interdisciplinary work. Within the faculty and in cooperation with the Office of Research Services, we have the Tshepo Institute for the Study of Contemporary Africa and several faculty currently engaged in grant funded research projects:

Check out more Laurier researcher activity on the Researcher Profiles page.

We are committed to involving undergraduate students in research through our undergraduate research apprenticeship program, ACERS and the Faculty of Liberal Art's Journal, Bridges: An Undergraduate Journal of Contemporary Connections.
