Print | PDFLaurier alumnus John Morris and his partner Kaitlyn Lawes won a gold medal for Canada in the first-ever mixed doubles curling competition on Day 4 of the Winter Olympic Games.
After finishing first in round robin play with an 8-1 record and defeating Norway 8-4 in a semifinal, Morris and Lawes beat Switzerland 10-3 in the gold medal match.
